Pros

One of the few cards that remove a spell/trap cards in current card pool.
Easy to use due to quick-spell type.

Cons

500 LP to use and can't deal with a face-down card.
Does not negate spell effects since it only destroys.

Tips

A good way to deal with field spell cards since your opponent will no longer get the advantage over you.
Can cancel Fusion Gate's effect during enemy turn to prevent them from fusion summoning.

errr... i don't know if the rules change based on country, but i'm from Brazil and this card here can only be activated if the opponent have 3 card on their trap/Magic card field... and it doesn't cost any LP to activate.

If my opponent activade mirror wall I can't chain with twister. This automatically makes mirrorwall much stronger than it should be. No wonder that mirror wall is overused. The bug should be fixed as soon as possible in my opinion!

You can only activate twister in battle step (declare battle), and mirror wall can be activated in damage step (which is deeper). Thats why you cant twister them, unless they pay 2000 LP for make it longer

If mirror wall (or any other battle trap)is giving you headaches then you might wanna swap twister for trap jammer

Twister doesn't negate, but it will destroy any continuous spells (Including field spells and equip spells) or continuous traps before they take effect.

So basically, if it's anything that stays on the field, twister will take priority.

in pvp, almost everyone brings at least 1.

I just encounterd a bug with this card while in a battle against pegasus. I destroyed his toon world wich resulted in some dead toon monsters. He reacted with Michezure but I was expecting that and reacted with this card to destroy Michezure and after Michezure was destroyed and in the graveyard my monster still died...

It's not a glitch. Michizure's effect already resolves upon activation, so unless the effect is also negated (something Twister cannot do), Michizure will still take out a monster. This is best used on continuous effects, like Continuous Spells, Field Spells, Equip Spells, etc.

both metalmorph and mirror wall activate in the damage step.. twister does not and thus can't stop them from activating

If my opponent has a monster that is acting as an equip spell for another monster in the Spell&trap zone, will Twister destroy that too?

Yes, use twister to take out monsters taken by reliquish's effect.

So when a opponent active trap or spell. And I use twister..why can they still active their trap and magic? Like Enemy controller and Windstorm of Etaqua. Twister should negate activation of effect when it being destroy. YET it still activating.
