The controller of this card pays 900 Life Points during each of his/her Standby Phases (this is not optional). When this card is targeted by the effect of a card controlled by your opponent, when resolving the effect, roll a six-sided die. If the result is 3, negate the effect and destroy the opponent's card. Enlighten me on how these Archfiends are any good? Must of their effects are pretty bad.
These are the old, chess-themed Archfiends. They're low level beaters with differents effects each, and a common targeting protection effect that is reliant on luck. The newer Archfiends, despite being of the same archetype, don't work the same way.
played against this today. Wouldn't be super great if it didn't roll a 3 BOTH times. I don't trust virtual dice.
