It's really not. It's not any stronger than a burn effect like Flame Wingman's really, especially how few cards we have that prevent destruction by battle.

yes but this Card doesn't destroy an opponents Monster by battle. It will destroy it by his effect + your Opponent gets damage equal the ATK of the Monster you destroyed.

imo way to OP for duel links atm

We have almost nothing that NEEDS to be destroyed by battle here. (And most of what we do have would be set rather than Summoned face-up anyway, and thus be unable to be hit by this effect.) The only scenarios this effect is even really useful are against equal ATK, monsters that can't be destroyed by battle, or extremely high DEF monsters with lower ATK. None of those scenarios are even common.

Unlike most Burn cards, this card's effect is limited by its ATK, it will only Burn if the attack target has equal to or less ATK.

If you find a way to reduce its ATK to a mediocre amount, it becomes largely useless.

We need void ogre dragon than this. We have 2 Kiryu (Dark Signer one and the redeemer one). Still no sign that konami will release it.

As long as you have the Skyscraper Field Spell in play

As a Dark Dragon it can replace Ancient Pixie Dragon in RDA/Resonator/Red Rising Dragon synchro decks.

How the heck is this card even strong? It even need an attack booster to utilize its effect in most situation.

Because it's significantly weaker?


That's like arguing Fifth Hope shouldn't have happened because Pot of Avarice would be OP. (Actually, that's a better argument, because at least the two are functionally similar.)
