Yes my friend played mask of accursed on my warrior monster. On my turn i summoned frontier wiseman. So does frontier still negate and destroy the spell card, even though it was already on the field before frontier wiseman.

No... Frontier wiseman only negates spells that come after it's summon.

This card is really good for a 3-star.

With Power of Dark, it'll be 1800 ATK already. Good counter against 4-starred Ladybug of Doom.
