Monster Zone Lock

Ojama Knight

You can possibly lock your opponent's monster zone if he/she has no tribute monsters. Use Floodgate Trap Hole when your opponent Summons a Monster. Then disable the 2 remaining zones by using Ojama Knight's effect. You can then wait to get the cards that you needed or burn your opponent.

Rulings

The text "monster(s)" on Floodgate Trap Hole means that it can affect multiple cards. See these screenshots below for example.

The opponent used The Flute of Summoning Dragon to Special Summon 2 Blue-Eyes White Dragon on the field. Then the Floodgate Trap Hole prompt pops up.

Floodgate Trap Hole is Activated.

Both of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon has been switched to face-down defense position.

he summoned it using DJINN in his graveyard which gives his ritual monster, in this case relinquished, immunity form traps

Guys, I just had a duel against a dude that just wrecked me with a relinquished deck. I couldn’t floodgate it and mirror walls didn’t work too!
When he played the first relinquished out of three it was prismatic, but when I checked his deck after the match, he only had 2 of them and none was prismatic. Is it a bug or did steam release just got us some 🔥 🔥 cheaters?
His name’s Hatter by the way... 🔥in cheater I’m gonna get you

he summoned it using DJINN, the lvl 1 effect monster that can be used as a ritual material in the graveyard, and when it does, the ritual monster is unaffected by trap cards, in this case relinqushed

Now that you mention it. He actually did summon the first one with djinn,but the second one he summoned with the relinquished that was already on the field. I couldn’t floodgate that one two... had 2 floodgate and 1 mirrorwall.

He may use djinn twice. Once on hand, and second time in graveyard

My opponent use this when I successfully summon BEUD, pretending he has won by sending annoying char message quotes (or whatever it is).

He doesn't know that I have something, holding my turn for about 10 seconds then special summoning BESD like a hero lol
