Quinton, also known as V in the Japanese version, was born Christopher "Chris" Arclight. He is the Arclight family's Eldest child. He used the power of his crest to wield powerful Numbers, such as "Number 9: Dyson Sphere".
Description in the game
Quinton is the oldest son in the Arclight family. His father Byron and Dr. Faker worked together to discover new worlds, but Dr. Faker's betrayal led Quinton to seek revenge. Quinton eventually forgave Dr. Faker, and they resumed their research on alternate dimensions - leading to the creation of Rank-Up-Magic cards that even humans could use. Quinton also mentored Kite on how to become a true Duelist.
3 Level 10 monsters At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles an opponent's monster: You can attach that monster to this card as a face-up Xyz Material. Once per turn: You can inflict 150 damage to your opponent for each Xyz Material attached to this card. If this card has "Number 9: Dyson Sphere" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect. ● Once per turn: You can detach any number of Xyz Materials from this card; inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each.
2 Level 9 monsters Once per Battle Step, during your opponent's turn, if this card with Xyz Material is attacked: Negate the attack (this is a Quick Effect). When this card is targeted for an attack while it has no Xyz Materials: You can target 2 monsters in your Graveyard; attach those targets to this card as Xyz Materials. During your Main Phase 1: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card can attack your opponent directly this turn. Your opponent must control a monster with higher ATK than this card for you to activate and to resolve this effect.
How to Unlock Quinton
There is no any information about Quiton Unlock Event.
Considering they went above and beyond for Girag’s voice lines, I will be very curious to see what they do with Quinton. Perhaps give him the B.E.S archetype as that’s a pretty iconic spaceship themed set of cards and aren’t typed to any pre-existing characters in the game.
Turns out you're both right as the datamine reveals he has lines for both BES and Kozmo, among other "space" cards like Satellite Cannon. The real surprise is he has a voiceline for Vetrix which suggests characters appearing as voiceless NPCs in events doesn't exclude them from becoming playable.
