There can only be 1 "Earthbound Immortal" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. Your opponent cannot target this card for attacks. This card can attack your opponent directly. When this face-up card leaves the field, except by its own effect: Destroy as many face-up monsters your opponent controls as possible, and if you do, inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each monster destroyed.

Probably the worst of Earthbound Immortals, only thing it has is high stats. The best one is the chameleon, because you can destroy it with FK Island a la Nephtys and it blows up the field instantly.

The Golem one with 3K Attack is worse but this one is also bad

hey- it's better than the other 2 we have so far (Kallin's effect does not mesh well with his ability to direct attack, and Rex's effect is way too much of a hassle to use)

Eh, Chacu Challhua is good too.

As for Uru.....does anyone even remember its effect lol
Feels like it's the one people most often forgot that it exist

Right, so can someone explain why, when my opponent summoned this because I had a field spell active, and then when I destroyed my field spell- this card just hang out till I lost? No other spell or traps in play, and the only other monster they had out was Darklord Ixchel.

Probably because he negated it's effect.

Looks devastating

You can use this in an ancient gear deck, leave gear town on the field as an insurance policy. if they destroy it, then you summon reactor dragon.

Drowning mirror force doesnt activate Piscu's effect, even though it should. This should be fixed...

Where do I report this bug to Konami? Doesn't shuffling back into the deck count as "leaves the field"?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Never mind, I see the official rules say returning to the deck doesnt counter as "leaving the field" although thats pretty dumb IMO

Effects don't activate in the deck, otherwise it would be even dumber with people activating card effects without drawing the card.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Effects not activating in the deck isn't really for balancing reasons. (It barely makes any difference since it only affects effects that trigger when a card leaves the field, and returning to the deck is fairly rare anyway.)

I think the rationale behind it is that you can't determine the specific copy that activated for the purposes of a card like Divine Wrath, but it's a fairly arbitrary rule.

If you use world legacy clash to temporarily banish this card, does it destroy all your opponents cards? and then return to the field as normal??

For an EB immortal deck:
3x gold sarcophagus
3x escape from the dark dimension
3x mausoleum of the emperor
use the skill power of dark to make sure you start with a field spell

Once we have Rex Goodwin's EB immortal this deck can be even more interesting
Just Use Traps
The most common traps can easily hande this card.
-Drowning Mirror Force sends it flying
-Floodgate locks it to face down and
-Canadia turns it to face down for at least a turn. Both of which gives you a chance to destroy while face-down and effect won't be triggered.

drowning mirror can activate its effect because it will be face up when it leaves the field jokes on you

Monster effects can't activate in the Main Deck, barring a couple of exceptions like Serpentine Princess that specifically do so, so Drowning will indeed counter it for what it's worth.

By OP's logic, only Jinzo should be top tier, since most other monsters can be shut down by trap cards. Surely there's no other deck that can come prepared for back row, right?

Or maybe you're looking for the wrong excuse to hate on a fun card.

Reactor Dragon can still activate its effect if it gets shuffled into the deck after attacking

I got it from the new dark singer event and I got 10 win streak with this deck

When you can = Missed timing
Aslla piscu is mandatory. The field wipe is inevitable.

It's "When", not "When....you can".

Mandatory "When" cannot miss the timing.
