Once per turn, this card can move to an adjacent (horizontal) unoccupied Monster Card Zone. If this card attacks the monster in its same column, this card gains 500 ATK during the Damage Step.
Yet there is that corrupted werewolf beast warrior that has 2000 attack as his natural stats without needing to move or attack anywhere. He makes this guy, Panther Warrior and Leotaur all seem useless.
And what if you want to run more than 3 beatsticks? ;p
Is it an amazing card? No. But a single better card existing doesn't necessarily mean a card is just straight never worth considering. (Also, hey, this thing's at least less vulnerable to Sphere Kuriboh and Enemy Controller.)
Low-level beatsticks are still beatsticks. The fact they're currently not that useful because of the high ATK of most common meta monsters doesn't make them not beatsticks. Especially when literally their only purpose is high ATK.
To elaborate more, back in GX era, Konami made a few cards whose effect revolves around moving themselves or other cards around, but the strategy never catch on due to the lack of rule to not move your cards around after putting them into the field. It's not until Vrains era that such rule exist.
