Because the effect cannot be used since there is no Main Phase 2

Yes, although it didint state main phase 2, it is impossible to activate its effect in main phase 1 since no monster's have attacked by then
And to add, it is not quick effect, thus cannot be activated during battle phase either.

They could have changed it to activate after the battle phase/during the end phase, but apparently they prefer to flat out remove the effect instead.

Still way less 🔥ed than Kaiju, anyway.

Also it's way less 🔥ed than keeping the effect in and be swamped with questions from players confused about why the effect cannot activate.
