During this event, Yugi Muto will randomly appear in Duel World. His card rewards are centered around Valkyrion the Magna Warrior, and his the other Magnet Warriors, but he also drops Union Attack, which is a very useful card for many farming decks.

Overview

Period (GMT +00:00)June 7 - June 12
  • Yugi Muto will not appear at the Gate
  • Only one Yugi Muto will appear at one time in Duel World
  • The Duel Assessment for a Yugi Muto Duel will be carried out in the same manner as Legendary Duelist Duels.
  • The lottery determining Yugi Muto’s appearance is in no way connected to the spawning of Standard Duelists and Legendary Duelists.
  • Using Duel Orbs/Boosted Duel Orbs will not affect Yugi Muto’s appearance in Duel World
  • The appearance of a Lvl. 20 or higher Yugi Muto will be determined randomly, depending on your Stage.

Finally, Yugi Muto arrived to Duel By winning duels against him, we will be able to get his Signature Card, Gandora the Dragon of Destruction!

Cards you should get from the event

It is strongly recommended to get at least 1 copy of Union Attack during the event. This spell card makes it easy for you to farm Lvl 40 Legendary Duelists by being used in a certain Combo. Check the link below for more details!

How often does Yugi Muto Spawn:

It is not yet known how often Yugi Muto appears, but we can confirm from the news that it is not affected by using boosted duel orbs or the spawning of standard and legendary duelists in duel world. Until we can confirm further, it is random.

How can I duel a higher lvl version of him

Yugi Muto’s lvl appears to be random depending on the player’s stage, requiring the player to reach a certain stage before a higher lvl can show up, but a lower lvl version can still appear for players that are already at stage 50.

Will I be able to obtain Yugi Muto:

No, the event is only to duel him to get a chance to obtain some of his cards.

How to earn a high score:

Check the level 30 and 40 page to find the decks that work against him, and use the ones that you can make.

Benny, i feel you bro, that random appear of yugi is sh*t, i'm in stage 60 and lv.40 yugi still doesn't shown up yet from the beginning of this event, and the lv.30 yugi just gave me the useless R card reward. Still got 0 UR or SR.

Stage 39 here. When he spawns for me hes normally 40. But if it mqkes you feel better i only have 1 UHG, my odion is lv 18, I work so i dont have much free time, and am starting to hate this grindfest of a game with a passion. So yeeeeeaaaahhhhhh...

Yugi shows up approx every hour with me. I'm duelling SDs while waiting, I think you have to duel a bit for him to spawn faster. If you don't duel at all he'll take forever to spawn. HTH

I've purchased two "boosted duel orbs" and played the whole 2 hours but he didn't show up...

Why hold this event then put the most garbage drop rates ever. I've played 3 yugi Moto events and not got even 1 gandora. What's the point of trying to promote the decks but then make them impossible to get. Event sucks.

You can easily earn 6000-7000 pts just by using any beatdown deck with a ritual, fusion and 1 tribute summon monster. Adding the spell card "breath of light" helps. I was very lucky just getting 1 valkyrion from yugi muto. I still need a lot of cards from him.

I agree yugi muto spawn rate should be higher. Only a very few times, he was level 40. He was mostly level 30 for me.

He is very easy to farm I get 8.1k every time with out the campaign bonus, but still no ur or sr card at all

anyone else having an issue where Yugi just will not spawn for hours at a time? Im lucky if I can duel him three times a day at this point. I know the event just started but its only going on for one week. hope they fix it or I get better luck if that is all it is.

Same issue here, compared to yesterday it's horrible.
I dueled him only 3 times, yesterday I was working but anytime i check the game he was there..

Spawn rate is really bad with this event and we're only on the second day. Same thing happened with the last 3 days of the Bakura event as well. For some reason Konami hinders both spawn rate and rewards rarity after the first day of their events...

Pretty disappointing. Appears very rarely, too often as lvl 30 and doesn't give anything. I mean, problably 4 SR in around 2 days isn't that bad but I want to play Last Gamble Valkyrion in the future(Konami also wants you to play obviously, with the new UR in the shop) and that's gonna be impossible, no way he is dropping 3 Beta warriors and 3 Valkyrions until the 9th.

It might be true, i pvp more than i pve and he's pretty much "always there". Don't think it's been more than 2 hours without him showing up, ever. Got 2 lvl 40s in a row just now. Too bad he only gives me blockman and shattered axe -_-

Still never earned Gandora, Toy Magician, magical blast, rain of mercy, nor union attack from previous 2 events. Lv 40 didnt spawn enough.

Depending which character you use to farm. I use Tea(Childhood Friend) and Holy Guard become the chosen skill for her :)
