Based on the given quote we can assume that the new unlockable duelist will be Yubel whose personality mainly revolves around her love for Jaden as its owner. Another evidence is the leaked Mat and Sleeve of Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare.

A New Development in Yugioh Duel links. This could likely be the addition of 5D's, the third series of YuGiOh into Duel Links like how GX was added late last year. With the addition of 5D's World comes the addition new characters, events, cards, and the Synchro summoning mechanic.

For people asking for new cards or 5d please there is Yugioh Duel Generation app and Ygopro website. Ygopro is not bad. You just key in the card name and you can make any deck you want. There is online battle too.

Even if you know how they work, it will still be a jarring, permanent shift that will start faster power-creep, even if Konami tries to ease it in......which these last few boxes prove they don't know how to do already.

Why are people still hoping 5Ds won't be added to the Duel Links? Especially since Synchro card Icons where datamined...?

Konami clearly has a plan to go up to Pendulum at least, considering Xyz-related icons and Pendulum-related icons are datamined as well, and there are character dialogue lines for Synchro, Xyz, and Pendulum Summon.

Old school Yu-Gi-Oh player moan about new summoning method is the most stupidest thing i've even heard, how can they moan Synchro and the others summoning method 🔥 the game when they're play with free monster/spell removal like Harpie Feather Duster and Fiber Jar

5d series never had a great reception among fans, they didn't even sell better than GX; the ones asking for 5d might be the 'komoney' trolls that want to ruin this game.

They don't really explain it. I just assumed it to be his monster spirit. I was dueling for awhile last night. I don't know how much that might differ from your time zone, but I'm usually on pretty late because school is annoying and then I end up playing other video games or writing before I'm ready to duel again. I FINALLY got the second mask change last night!

(FINALLY XD) I know that it is better to have three mask change and Anki instead of two, but I feel like I really need a break to focus on getting other cards I want right now and I don't feel like spending another month or two going through Valiant Souls again.

It would be illogical for them NOT to put in 5Ds. They can't keep the game with just GX and DM characters, it would get stale and boring eventually with little to no updates.

And i will hear Yusei!!!!

I use Junk Synchron Special ability! Let's me special summon a level 2 or lower monster from the graveyard!, I bring sonic chick!

And i tune Junk Synchron and sonic chick, and bring a level 5 synchro monster!

Come fort Junk Warrior!,

Dude i love synchro and Xyz! haha makes the game in different pace!

I love DM and Gx when i was a kid, But 5d's is my fav, cause of adult charcters and not cheater children! hahaa

anyway! i also tune Junk warrior with Junk Synchron by using Call of the haunted on Junk Schron, To bring fort my strongest monster!
