January! New Duel world!.. Neo Domino City, And i will hear Yusei!!!! I use Junk Synchron Special ability! Let's me special summon a level 2 or lower monster from the graveyard!, I bring sonic chick! And i tune Junk Synchron and sonic chick, and bring a level 5 synchro monster! Come fort Junk Warrior!, Dude i love synchro and Xyz! haha makes the game in different pace! I love DM and Gx when i was a kid, But 5d's is my fav, cause of adult charcters and not cheater children! hahaa anyway! i also tune Junk warrior with Junk Synchron by using Call of the haunted on Junk Schron, To bring fort my strongest monster! Synchro Shokan! Awarero! Stardust Duragon!

If they put synchro then XYZ and pendelum they are coming and then half of the players will leave this game and konami will close this game.

To be honest, as someone who never even watched gx as a kid, I'd be very open to synchros. This game made me rewatch DM and watch gx, and I've already watched a bit of 5Ds. More importantly, I think that synchros would be a healthy new mechanic for this game. Gx didn't really bring any new mechanics, just kind of cleaned up the rules.

Where is a good site to learn all of these summoning rules? I've only seen one episode of 5ds so far and I want to be ready when all of this gets added to the game.

Yugioh.wikia is a good site to start I think.

Also, you should be able to learn naturally (especially the basics) just by watching 5d's, Zexal, Arc V & Vrains respectively

To Synchro Summon, you need to control the materials on the field.

The materials vary for each Synchro monster, but one thing consistent is that the total Level combined of all the materials must match with the Level of the Synchro monster.

You also need one of the materials to be a Tuner monster.

There are few Synchro monsters that requires more than one Tuner (or requires a Tuner Synchro, a Synchro monster that's also a Tuner), but it's extremely rare. I don't think we'll get those kind of Synchro within the early 5Ds era in DL. Maybe after a few months or a year, but definitely not at the start, so no need to worry about them yet

And yeah, Yugioh Wikia (or Yugipedia), and watching the anime, are a good way to learn the new summoning mechanic.

I'd say watch the subbed anime though, not the dub one. Better for your sanity in the long run.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention

You send the materials to the Graveyard to Synchro Summon a Synchro monster from your Extra Deck.

You do not need use any other card like Fusion with Polymerization, all you need are the materials on the field.

Also, you'll love 5Ds ;)

I like how the summoning mechanic become more and more generic

Synchro = need tuner, the total level must match
Xyz = need monsters with the same level
Link = literally any monster, even token
