Can I set this facedown to hide it, then flip summon it next turn, then normal summon it that same turn to gain its effect?

Hey so I'm using a rezd deck. I use this card in there. I was facing a gladiator beast deck and I think alexandrus popped up. He was special summoned, yet when I engaged my monster died. I made sure to go summon him twice for the effect also. Idk it's weird. It seems like he is the perfect counter for gladiator beast decks.

Did he use impenetrable attack on his alexander when you attacked? coz if he did then alexander cannot be destroyed by card effects. And it is you who attacked right? Did it prompt you to use Heavy Knight's effect?

No, it's a gemini. You summon it and during your next turn, instead of summoning another monster, you click on Heavy Knight again and "normal summon" it to activate its effect.

No, all "Gemini" monsters can be normal summoned again when they are already on the field to be treated as an effect monster. If you summon this card, the next turn you can click it again and normal summon it again to for it to be treated as an effect monster, but it will take up your summon for that turn and there will still only be 1 Heavy Knight on the field.

Use knight of red lotus. If heavy knight dies u can special summon him from the graveyard then activate his effect

I star Mary panicking when I see my opponent has a toon deck thinking I'm instantly losing, but I see heavy knight on the field and remember, "Oh right. Heavy knight banishes special summoned monsters like most toons." This card is the one thing that can beat toon monsters besides cards to get rid of toon kingdom. Can't get rid of toon kingdom, then banish the toons, which toon kingdom thankfully doesn't provide protection against.

So this card can BAN fusion summon and ritual summon ? Or just special summon I use on my Gemini deck but only use its effect when they special summoned something guess I'll try on fusions and rituals BUT this card destroys toons like no tomorrow lmao

fusion summon and ritual summon both count as special summon. So yeah, this card can be your universal solution to all of those broken special summon cards.
