I really do think that is not about the card having counters, but really the fact that in a game that you are kinda forced to play a 20 card deck, you get also forced to play so much backrow removal because of such a powerfull card. Ok i can run ama, seargent and everything else but if i want to run a xyz deck for example, and i am forced to run the xyz support cards i have no space for all the backrow removal necessary to deal with one card. Its not op, its just frustrating and mostly fun breaking :/

I was thinking earlier it would be nicer to see a more versatile metagame with almost 'structure deck'-esk themes. Where xyz, armed dragon, deadalus, etc were on par with CA, GB, dinos, REZD through limiting staple cards and forcing less consistency. It would be more fun, but slower which would be bad for pvp anyway. There's always a place for these decks in gold rank and in our hearts.
