Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 2 Cyberse monsters from your GY. You can target 1 monster your opponent controls with higher ATK than this card (Quick Effect); banish it until the End Phase. You can only use this effect of "Degrade Buster" once per turn.

Pros

  • Self Special Summoning.
  • Can temporarily banish an opponent’s monster.

Cons

  • Requires graveyard setup to Special Summon.
  • Can only banish monsters stronger than itself.

Tips

  • Degrade Buster’s banishing is a quick effect that makes it useful for turning off continuous effects.
  • If your opponent only has one powerful monster, Degrade Buster can keep banishing it at the start of you and your opponent’s turn.

Summoning

You can set up your graveyard by using mill effects such as That Grass Looks Greener and Lightsworn monsters. Notable graveyard setup among Cyberse monsters include Cliant which can put Cyberse monsters in your graveyard while stalling, and Launcher Commander which uses your Cyberse monsters as cost for its removal effect.

Aside from that, you can use Paladin of Storm Dragon to Special Summon Degrade Buster from your hand or deck. And its Ritual Summon can also be used for graveyard set up.

Move the banished monster out of the banish zone so it does not return to your opponent’s field. Storm Dragon’s Return lets you Special Summon the banished monster to your field, and returns it to the opponent’s hand during the End Phase.

It's not a priority since Cyberse deck is kinda underpowered at the moment.

But you do want to have 2 if your Cyberse deck plays this as the ace.

But we've had Psychics before 5Ds world and Wyrms before Zexal world, so Cyberse before Vrains world isn't that surprising.

As long as they don't deal with Links, they can be in DL already.

Besides, Vrains still has a ton of cards, it's not like they will run out of cards to use for Vrains world.
