Storm

Since it is a quick-play spell, you can activate it with Storm to be able to destroy a spell/trap card that your opponent owns.

Gravekeeper's Recruiter

#	Play
1	Tribute the Gravekeeper's Recruiter to activate one of the effects of Enemy Controller.
2	Now you take a control of a monster your opponent controls, and have a greavekeeper's monster to your hand from the deck for the Recruiter's effect.
3	Tribute the opponent's monster to summon Gravekeeper's Chief.
4	Special summon a Gravekeeper's monster from the graveyard for the Chief's effect.

Rulings

Soul Exchange can be used to tribute a monster your opponent controls to use the 2nd effect of Enemy Controller.

The limitations that should be done are towards CAs and Ninjas, Econ has existed since the game began and we still see a variety of Decks, now we only see CAs and Ninjas thanks to glorified Youtubers showcasing their ranked and KC cup duels, more copycats just surfaced out of nowhere and currently even a new player can kick 🔥 with a half-baked CA deck, forget about even farming for other cards.

Lol I remember those days when I spent hours farming kiaba, with multiple failed attempts. My first Econ came after 3 months of playing from a LOSS lol.. And now I have 10 after multiple autoduels..

When you had to sacrifice your soul to Seto Kaiba before there was even any pvp tickets for it and Mokuba coming along to give us one because he thought his big bro was taking this too far. XD

I got Enemy Controller fighting Kaiba @Level 10. And you can also get this from PVP tickets. Someone need to update the descriptions.

I literally cant believe they didnt mention the treeborn frog + enemy controller combo. If you have no spell/traps on your side of the field you can special sum treeborn from your grave during your standby phase. On reaction to summon activate econ from your hand, sacrificing treeborn. Since its still during your standby phase treeborn reactivates from the grave, summoning himself again (thats how it worked in real yugioh, not sure if duel links nerfed this combo)

Did they make changes to econ? When taking control of an opponents monster with effect #2, I cant change it from defense to attack and then attack my opponent anymore... and, a different opponenet just activated it before battle phase and I wasnt able to put my card back to attack. Has it always been like this or is this new?

It might be the case that the opponent has a card that prevents his monsters from being targeted by (magic) card effects. For example, this is what Lord of D does for all dragon type monsters - this cost me a battle once, learned my lesson a hard way :D

No, he can steal it and he can't change its battle position. // I don't think it's about which monster assume he should know that monster/read that it can change battle position or not. This is more than a month anyway. He's long gone :P

Its a reasonable card. Cards that shd be limited are srh,tribute to doom,eliminating the league. These cards remove monster for almost nothing.
