someone used this card on me while i had a monster on the field i did econ take and it destroyed their blue eyes

It's situational in PvP, you risk having a dead card in a crucial moment, but this card is key to my Kaibaman/Piranha farm deck. Last turn, you summon Piranha Army, use BSoD, then Riryoku/Rising Energy followed by Gift of the Martyr, putting PA up to 5300, an easy 9999 on your assessment.

Alternatively, if you have BEUD, you can sub Riryoku for Poly, last turn goes : PA > BSoD > Poly > GotM. You might want Monster Reincarnation in this deck.I run 3 Kaibaman and 3 BDS, plus a PWD. So if you wait til your final turn, you get: Duel Victory, 9999 smh, Fusion, Ritual and Special summons, Cards on the Brink, plus you'll get all your glossy/prismatic in, and prob destroy 10 monsters. I also use Mirror Wall and Twister to manipulate my LP for Comeback win and Low LP bonus. Easy 8k every time. And since you have 4 deck milling cards, you can add 2-3 Riryoku field/etc to customize the deck based on your opponent.
