Why do they keep playing the same duels on the street replays? I have seen the exact same duels two or three times now, and I only watch to get the gems everyday. Just how old are some of these duels?

Guys I keep getting bricked with my fur hires. I have five beaters (dyna and wiz) and 9 summoners (the rest) and starting with my beaters and spells alone for way too many duels. Any advice? I know u get bricked sometimes but its happening way to much.

Do you use beatdown and really want to keep using beatdown?

If you don't mind about not using beatdown skill, other good skill to ensure you have summoners in starting hand is "My monster card" yugi.
"Reinforcement" skill is ok too, to search beat.

Maybe try dropping to 2 Dyna and/or 2 Mayhem and see if you miss them or not. From looking at the KOG lists, most only run 2 of each of them (probably because, as you're finding, they're the biggest causes of bricks), and a couple don't run ANY Mayhem.

Why is it so tough to get Superb Tea to appear? Only got to fight her 3 times for the day.

So I just battled a big shield gardner and it absolutely REFUSED to change to attk postn when attacked? It was in duel island

It's a bug wich should've been patched already. At least, that's what they mentioned at the notification panel.

Yeah, it seems either they still haven't fix the bug, or the bug returns again

So when an oppents monster isn't effected by spell effects, why wouldn't dark necrofear take control of the monster that destroyed it at the end of the turn?

Dark Necrofear is a monster card with a monster effect. Not a spell card. I understand it goes in the spell/trap zone, but for it not to take over my opponents monster because it's unaffected by spell effects is 🔥.

Because it's a fiend with a monster effect. It's not a spell card. Therefore I should be able to take over my opponents monster. Fix your 🔥 Konami

From what I know;

Necrofear's is a monster effect, but when it takes control of the opponent monster, it is treated as an equip card. (spell)

If you check necrofear's effect sequence properly, when it effect's trigger, it target 1 monster, it goes to S/T zone and becomes equip card to that target, and then the control switches.

The moment it goes to S/T zone, it becomes spell effect

IF Necrofear's effect sequence is different, such as, it gains control first, then it goes to S/T to become equip card, then silent magician would have been affected since the control switches before necrofear hit the S/T zone.

Hope this explains.

It's been five months since I first started playing Duel Links. I was able to reach KOG in tree of them (first with Cyber Angels, then with Amazoness and finally last season with Silent Spellbooks). I can say I never played a game like this. For some reason Duel Links has something special about it. I remember sometimes I would wait a whole month for a new event (the battle city event for exemple or the Elegant Mai event) just to wake up in the day the event started and immediately start playing it right after my breakfast. Today I'm saying good bye to duel liks since I have to write my master's degree dissertation. But the nostalgia will always remain. Hope you all enjoy this game as much as I did, and for the new players: aim for the top!

Also, three of the best Synchros in the game are from character unlock (Stardust Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, and Ancient Fairy Dragon). So no, it's not P2W.

You will see, when you need to go bach to buy from an old main boxes, and every good synchro will be an UR from a main box.
