It's been five months since I first started playing Duel Links. I was able to reach KOG in tree of them (first with Cyber Angels, then with Amazoness and finally last season with Silent Spellbooks). I can say I never played a game like this. For some reason Duel Links has something special about it. I remember sometimes I would wait a whole month for a new event (the battle city event for exemple or the Elegant Mai event) just to wake up in the day the event started and immediately start playing it right after my breakfast. Today I'm saying good bye to duel liks since I have to write my master's degree dissertation. But the nostalgia will always remain. Hope you all enjoy this game as much as I did, and for the new players: aim for the top!
The nostalgia is probably the only reason I still play this. The bugs, the crashes mid duel, the "connection time outs" in the middle of the atch even tho I have full wifi connection. Yeah the nostalgia is what makes this game awesome. Thant alone.
There's also the fact that the game is slowly becoming more and more expensive (duel links is current Konami's Golden Boy)I couldn't keep expending 300R$/100$ per month on a mobile app. Consider the fact the there's a lot of cheaters in this game and the server is one of the worst I've seen... I hope 5D's introduction can bring back a F2P status to this game...
Also, three of the best Synchros in the game are from character unlock (Stardust Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, and Ancient Fairy Dragon). So no, it's not P2W.
