Only thing useful I can think of is using it on a Dark Magical Circle against a Dark Magician deck but other than that..

That's not how it works dude.
This skill can only be used on cards that already target & affect a monster on the field and it is still on the field, Fiendish Chain, Ekibyo Drakmord etc.

Skills cannot be part of a chain.

I guess you could counter a few trap cards like Canadia. But it doesn't look like a skill that you want to use in PvP.

Maybe it'll become useful in certain events where the opponent's deck contains a lot of targeting spell/trap cards. But even then there might be better skills to use

It does nothing to Canadia. I could see it potentially being useful in, say, tag events where Yugi uses Swords of Revealing Light or something. In PvP, it's unlikely to be especially useful, though. I guess you could use it to potentially counter cards like Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror or DNA Surgery temporarily, though.

It’s a reference to the DSOD movie, when Diva tries to use his power on him but Kaiba uses his tech to basically say “No, 🔥 that”

The moment where Kaiba said screw the rules in YGOTAS is when he summoned a bunch of monsters into the field.

Not when his card is targeted by a Continuous Spell/Trap.

So I don't know why people keeps mentioning that memetic scene.....

The only thing really works against rn is Metapthys- their continuous trap fits this criteria to the letter
