Well, yugioh is becoming one of the oldest card games. It is common for new players to laugh on old cards, although many of them were considered staples in the past (ofc not this one which was always a crap). But cards like gemini elf, the vanila 1900, was one of the most wanted cards and you needed 3 to be competitive (thus a secret rare). It is called powercreep. The problem of all card games.

the design is fine but my gawd what is wrong with that stats, and the effect are the worst.

It's basically 2200 ATK, though I wouldn't use the 'swap out with robolady' effect unless you're absolutely sure you can get a direct attack.

There's untapped potential with these cards. If, for example, Mage Power and Fairy Meteor Crush on Super Roboyarou can do a lot.

Yeah, it's not great by any means but it's a fun deck to use because I like unique mechanics like this. Even 500 points more would be a huge improvement to the cards.

Eh, what can you expect from the fusion materials, it must've been great back in the day. Just a shame it's such a dated set of cards.

That isn't "untapped potential". It's worse at using Mage Power than a card like Judge Man.

Realistically, unless we ever get Messenger of Peace or Crush Card Virus here, it's always going to be much, much worse than Steam Gyroid.

FYI those equip spells you are using as example can also be equipped to better monsters.

The level 20 AI can really wreck you really quickly if it can get this card out. It definitely would need a lot of +atk backrow support but 2200 ATK at minimum is solid enough.
