Can only be used if you control an Earthbound Immortal monster.

Similar Effects
Earthbound Wave is powerful compared to other Counter Traps with similar negation effects. These types of cards usually negate an opponent’s effect at the cost of discarding a hand card. Dark Bribe negates an opponent’s Spell/Trap card but gives them a draw. Earthbound Wave is strong because it requires no cost, however it does require you to control a monster that could potentially be difficult to summon.
You will need one of these monsters face-up on your field to activate Earthbound Wave.

am i the only one who only got 2 copies ofthis card? i'm getting every other cardexcept this one. the ones igot were from the mission rewards and card trader only.
The embedded anime continuous effect of the any Earthbound Immortal is splitted in this trap card...
Then... Immortal creatures aren't so immortal... xD
Here instead your immortal is vulnerable also to spell/trap.
Exactly like a normal monster, the immortal don't have any embedded protection.
So, it's immortal to words only.
Again, they weren't immortal in the anime, either. Being more vulnerable here doesn't matter in regards to that, since your argument is "they're not immortal now" when they never were.
Realistically, the term "immortal" often only implies no death via natural causes such as old age or disease anyway, it's usually not used to mean "cannot be killed".
You don't have understand the point.
No one want the immortal unbeatable.
In the anime you have a reason for which you can call this creature almost immortale with a weak point (effect monster). In OCG, nope, these monsters, alone, are easily taken down over the field with a trap or a spell.

Hmmm... the meta is so fast for cards like this, maybe they need to ban treacherous, for real. Too many run 2 copies of it.
