man, in this events and to be fair since their launch, the Heavy Samurai deck has always won against me. I am using the Invoked Elementsaber deck right now which is not bad usually. Even the Shiranui matchup is hard to deal with but at least they can brick or you can at least defuse their play. I never managed to counter the HS deck instead. Well, I hope the nerf them soon, it's too consistent

I put Soul Release and an extra Shiranui Samurai in case I'm encountering a Heavy Samurai deck. They fear them.

Necro valley really comes in clutch for this event. I’ve already cucked so many opponents out of their nonsense graveyard shenanigans.

Core cards are cheap but need good backrow. So overall not cheap unless you played for a long time.

OK... Eventually made it to DLVmax with super heavy Sam.
Wasn’t that hard (only demoted once from lvl23 to lvl22) took me 8 duels at lvl24 : W L L W W W W W

You need to use Draw Sense high leve and put some traps in your deck and kiteroids and baconsaver....

Just reached DLv MAX. Deck:

- 3x Gouki Suprex
- 1x Gouki Riscorpio
- 3x Gouki Twistcobra
- 1x Gouki Octostretch
- 1x Gouki Headbatt
- 1x Gouki Bearhug
- 2x World Legacy Clash
- 2x Fiendish Chain
- 2x Cosmic Cyclone
- 3x Paleozoic Canadia
- 1x Floodgate Trap Hole
- Win ratio: ~ 80%

Deck is not perfect. But 100% you can reach Stage 1 DLv. MAX with "Gouki" decks.

got dlv 11 and yet i may just wait til Preliminary are here then play serious but before it here just play my lose on purpose deck for the quests at least.
i struggle in the kc anyway once i'm dlc 10 just to win a bloody match

Has anyone experienced any cheaters, because I just had a strange duel, I was using ritual beasts and the other guy was using Neos, and I couldn’t activate any effects during my opponents. It wouldn’t let me disrupt or defuse for defence moves I was straight up locked I had two cosmic cyclones and full life points and it wouldn’t let me activate, idk if it was a bug but the turn before he had played anti magic arrows so idk maybe that card is broken currently and no one knows because it isn’t meta

Report the user to Konami and they will ban him. But only if you experience that sort of duel, otherwise you could be banned.

It's hard to tell without a replay. Maybe they did even use Diamond Dude and Anti Magic Arrows were activated that turn. You should always save a replay or at least a screenshot.

konami will eventually ban these foul players, but AFTER KCGT ends. Most of them are valuable investors/whales. Konami won't take action immediately, ever.
