No, the 2 monster must be special summoned by one effect, like nimble momonga, provided if the other 2 is in the deck while the 3rd is being destroyed by battle.
So gilasaurus or dynatherium doesn't fall for this card

Would this card affect Tokens as well?

Well, as long the special summoned tokens are 2+, and CAN be destroyed by card effect, then yes they are affected

You can use this card against ritual Beasts however.
When they defuse it special summons 2 monsters with 1 effect.
