For some reason every time I use a card like "power of the guardians" or "rising sun slash" with utopia it won't let me combo utopia with "double or nothing". I think the counters are causing problems but I don't know why.

You miss the timing. Since either of those cards gaining a counter resolves after Utopia stopping his attack (that is, Utopia´s stop is not the last thing to happen), you can no longer chain Double or Nothing.

well Light Wing Shield is obtainable right now so use it, also the "When" may be problem eg. when potg is on the field

This card has mandatory When, so logically there should be no missing the timing.

Also, the problem with Light Wing Shield is that you get double ATK but no second attack.

Light Wing Shield is better used for its detach replacement effect, in my opinion.

Still, seems like Light Wing Shield is more versatile overall with it's other ability to end the turn. But Double or Nothing is pretty tempting

When are they gonna fix that bug? Utopia being able to stop his own attacks is what enables wacky card combinations like this one to begin with!
