This card is confirmed will not work if you AND your opponent have banished monster. I tried using it in Duel Links.

If one of the 2 banished monsters on either side of the field cannot be Special Summoned, then this card won't be usable.

For example, if your opponent Special Summoned Stardust Dragon with Starlight Road, then you banished it, Stardust Dragon cannot be Special Summoned back with this card because it was never Synchro Summoned properly.

In Yu-Gi-Oh GX season 3 episode 44 Dimension Explosion returns all Zane's monsters (4) back

If you opponent doesnt have a free monster zone or 1+ banished monster, you cant activate this.

I may be wrong, but it seems like both players have to have banished monsters to activate this effect.

i guess not, theres any "up to" on it, so if enemy have not banished monster, its ok. CMIIW

It was technically made form them as in GX, there was a SURGE of Fusion monsters and ways to summon them through banishment.

So, you can build a deck around the 3 XYZ monsters and put Skull Lair on it . You can finish your opponent by using this card during battle phase ( after first "wave" of attacks ends )
