Your opponent can Set 1 Trap directly from their hand or Deck. Then, if they did, Special Summon 1 "Jinzo" from your Deck. If they did not, add 1 "Jinzo", or 1 monster that specifically lists that card in its text, from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Law of the Cosmos" per turn.
There's reasons to do so. Like if you have an out to the Jinzo anyway, or if you don't want them to search something else. (Since if you Set the Trap, they can only get Jinzo. If you don't, they can also get monsters that name it.) That being said, it matters more in the TCG/OCG, since Jinzo the Machine Menace is a thing. Here, I guess Psychic Megacyber would potentially be the reason.
If you have a set BoM, you can just flip Jinzo face down and use your trap the very next turn.
Or if you have any spells or monster effects that can get rid of Jinzo the next turn, it's also an option. But you have to make sure that you survive this turn.
But if you set a card, it's technically a -1 for the opponent. Otherwise, it's a +0.
