Is it possible at this point in the game to make a competitive fusion deck. like platinum quality. The way I see it is most fusion guys are level 6+ and if u manage to get 1 fusion guy out. U basically lose if he dies. Seems like ritual is way better because u can sacrifice anyone and some of them have actual effects.

What do you mean? Just drag your fusion cards into your deck in deck editor and it will be included during battle

I have Bracchio-radius in my extra deck, crawling dragon #2 in my hand and Twp headed king rex on the field. But it wont let me play Polymerization? What gives

From card trader..it spawns rarely, so i suggest you to buy it every time you see it.

To use Polymerization you need:
1. A fusion monster in the extra deck.
2. The monsters listed on that Fusion monster in either your hand or on the field.
3. Polymerization
eg. Thousand Dragon's "fusion materials" are Time Wizard and Baby Dragon. So to summon Thousand Dragon you need to have Baby Dragon and Time Wizard on either the field/hand and a Polymerization card. With these 3 cards you can Fusion Summon Thousand Dragon.
Yes, Fusion DOES require a lot of investment. To help with that cards like "Mystical Sheep" can replace 1 card listed in a Fusion Monster. Or some materials have effects to make them less costly eg Thunder Dragon. Or a card like Fusion Gate might be desired to keep getting fusions without using multiple spells.
In Duel Links, (as of now) Twin Headed Thunder Dragon is probably the best fusion monster in the game, because it's materials (Thunder Dragon) gain 'card advantage' with their effect, thus making it a cheaper high ATK monster.

If people are using Heavy Starter or Balance or the like to get these high-level Fusion materials in their hand, then the skill prevents you from special summoning on your first turn.

I was having the same problem, turned out the skill I was using prohibits me from summoning an effect monster on my first turn, (dark cavalry is an effect monster) so that for me atleast is why my poly has not been working for me
