Description

Discard of the following monsters from your hand, then change 1 monster you control whose original name is "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" into one of the following monsters:
- Lvl 6 Fiend-Type Normal Monster: B. Skull Dragon
- Lvl 6 Dragon-Type Normal Monster: Meteor B. Dragon
- Lvl 4 EARTH Warrior-Type Normal Monster: Red-Eyes Slash Dragon
This Skill can only be used once per Duel.

Interesting skill it also doesn't say how many times it can be used per duel either or if it matters what your life points currently are.

But you do need a vanilla red eyes and a earth warrior in deck. Good for F2P red eyes I think.

It's once per duel.

+ Remove the normal monster requirement
+ Remove the EARTH requirement from the warrior monster (so we can use red-eyes gearfried)
+ Make us to draw a card after using it
- Once per duel

Than this skill would be worth of thinking of using

Oh... man... really?? This skill wiuld still be useless. Do you really need an extra way to make slash dragon? I mean 3 re fusion+3 re insight is almost an 80% guarantee tgat you will have him in your first hand. Slash dragon is the only boss monster red eyes decks summon. They should make this skill to be able to summon comet dragon or archfiend skull dragon and without the discard cost.

Forcing you to use normal monsters makes this skill pretty useless.

Doesn't appear to work with gemini monsters, even if they are treated as normal monsters in hand.
I had meteor dragon R.E. impact in hand and REBD in field but skill didn't prompt.

I realized seconds later I posted.
Too much playing with Spirit of White Dragon messed with my knowledge.

For what it's worth, it does take effects that treat a monster in the hand as a Normal Monster into account. (I was curious, so tested it with a Cost Down'd Dragon Spirit of White.) Of course, Dragon Spirit is the only relevant one (Simorgh, Bird of Ancestry is a Winged Beast), but still interesting.

Gearfried the Iron Knight (only for the Joey experience)

Genesis Dragon
Krystal Dragon
Lightpulsar Dragon

Prime Material Dragon

Yeah, those cards are not really good but some of them have some interesting niche effects and could be used for some fun decks.

Fun fact: When Gearfried the Red-Eyes Knight will be available, you can't even use him with this skill.

A lot of those monsters you named are effect monsters. The skill requires normal monsters.
