Monster Zone Lock

Ojama Knight

You can possibly lock your opponent's monster zone if he/she has no tribute monsters. Use Floodgate Trap Hole when your opponent Summons a Monster. Then disable the 2 remaining zones by using Ojama Knight's effect. You can then wait to get the cards that you needed or burn your opponent.

Rulings

The text "monster(s)" on Floodgate Trap Hole means that it can affect multiple cards. See these screenshots below for example.

The opponent used The Flute of Summoning Dragon to Special Summon 2 Blue-Eyes White Dragon on the field. Then the Floodgate Trap Hole prompt pops up.

Floodgate Trap Hole is Activated.

Both of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon has been switched to face-down defense position.

does this card work with relinquished ?? my opponent ritual summoned and I activated FGTH..it went to the graveyard but relinquished unaffected..is it a bug or what ??

Have this trap card in my deck, and was using auto-duel vs a SD 45 duelist. The SD triggered the trap "Embodiment of Apophis", and auto-duel then triggered my set trap for floodgate on it...this sent Apophis back to the back row, face down. The auto-duel at this point would NOT attack the SD duelist, even though I had 3 monsters on the field vs none, and the only card on the SD duelists field was 'broken trap' in it's back row.

Say..if Apophis is Floodgated and returns to the backrow, can the user flip that Apophis again next turn to be front row monster?

No, because of game mechanics, Trap Cards cannot be activated in the same turn that was set (at least you have an effect that allows you to activate it, e.g: Temple of the Kings).

But yes, you still can activate Apothis in the next turn because when it retuns to S/T zone, it's not a monster anymore, so it doesn't reach the restriction of Floodgate "Monsters changed to face-down Defense Position by this effect cannot change their battle positions."

Cyber angels take no skill, just ritual summon any noob can do it

Can someone help explain? My opponents have special summoned monsters from the graveyard; sometimes I am able to activate this card, others I am not given the option.

Opponent summoned bewd from graveyard using majesty something, was not given an option to activate.

This card is dam broken when people have more than one in deck. Opponent can't do a thing, when one just spam this, it limit interaction to the lowest.
