are you sure you are using normal monsters that are on the field? it means monsters that have no effect written on them. cards like jerry beans or zdragon zombie.

Agreed - can't get this to work when I set it. I tried in every phase of the game.

Mystic box is a good alternative right? Similar effect. Mystic box let you destroy one of your opponent monster but in exchange you send over 1 of your own. This one works with token.

what makes this card highly rate is because this is a quick play spell, meaning you can activate this on your opponent's turn. You can essentially summon a normal monster and destroy a monster, if the next turn they summon a higher attack monster then you can 🔥 it on the spot.

Mystic box requires you to give your monster which can also leave you vulnerable.
