Equip only to a Normal Summoned/Set monster you control. It is unaffected by your opponent's activated effects of Special Summoned monsters. During damage calculation, if the equipped monster battles an opponent's Special Summoned monster: That opponent's monster loses ATK/DEF equal to the equipped monster's original ATK, during that damage calculation only.

  • Protects your monster from the opponent’s monster effects.
  • Debuffs opponent’s monster during battle.

Cons

  • Cannot be equipped to Special Summoned monsters.
  • Protection effect can be lacking.

Tips

  • Good against any deck that like to Special Summon which is most decks in the meta.

Low-Level Beaters

The most efficient way to use this card is to simply equip it to a low-level monster with a high attack stat so it can power through all your opponent’s monsters.
