Is this card completely useless or what??? if its attacked and destroyed; nothing happens. If it attacks and it destroys a monster; nothing happens. If it attacks and is killed in action; nothing happens. What use is an IF-monster when none of the desired applications work when battling a level 4 or below monster. Use it for those rare moments you attack a more powerfull monster that someone accidentally left in defense mode and both monsters survive the attack? Useless -_-'
Garmr itself doesn't need to survive the battle. (The opponent's monster does, though.)
It is a pretty useless effect, yeah. But so what? Plenty of cards have useless effects, and Garmr still had uses early on in Nordics since it's a Level 4 Nordic Beast.
Useless effect?! This horrible thing removes a monster from the field all through destroy protection AND target protection. It doesn’t even need another Nordic monster on the field so it can be used in any deck... it’s really 🔥.
Eh, most monsters like that are too weak to bounce with Garmr. (Things like Bacon Saver or White Stone of Ancients.) And even for cards like Fuhma that do live, leaving an 800 ATK monster in Attack Position seems bad. Its effect can have niche uses, but you shouldn't be using it very often.
