Lovely Aster | Balance | Nov 22 |
A comment from Lovely Aster:
This deck is pretty easy to use. Witchraider turned out to be the real star even more than Anki sometimes. If I started with her and drew another mask change after my opponent's first turn, it would be a FTK.

This deck is pretty awesome. I lost only 1 duel. Jinzo is a great card against many decks.

Honestly, stardust is not very useful on this deck.
The most powerful morphtronic is the scopen. The core of the deck is accelerator and the sligen such have a very destuctvive power. And Jinzo is here to prevent me from some traps played in the meta like canadia or floodgates.

A comment from Scraggy26:
Tried Koa'ki Meirus only to get deranked from DLv. 19 to 17 so from there I switched to UA which I think is more consistent.
Pretty standard as far as UA goes. More often than not, it's better to be conservative and prolong your plays rather than all-out attacking. Be smart when to use your traps!

Ejay | The Tie that Binds | Nov 20 |
A comment from Ejay:
Notes:
The otk potential of the deck is high and most duels end by turn 5-7. If you go first just search for takeover and if u go 2nd go in for otk when crucial monsters and backrow are popped via grace + Field spell.
Easy matchup against spellbooks since there is too much swarm to banish all monsters and with Sam skull effect you’re guaranteed a vampire mill. Masked heroes can’t get over skull, gozuki, or retainer so they need mask change and just pop backrow in meantime. Bujins just clear out Yamato and Mikuzuchi and don’t attack into them bc of Crane hand trap.
Tough matchups are Yubel bc of constant board clear and you only have a small window between the field spell, Nepthys, and terror leaving the board to otk them. Geargia bc of floodgate/canadia protection from otk, but get grace on board ASAP and only pop the monsters before backrow. In mirror the winner is whoever gets rid of the other players field spell first, but in this deck ties that binds will put your monster’s atk over theirs. Fur hires having backrow canadia + Widespread + Wiz negate is hard to get around, just try and pop wiz and have them mill all their furries in hand then get grimson on board to protect from widespread/ sakuretsu/ treacherous skills hole.
Techs/possible tech:
Simultaneous attack allows you to get a double pop (on their turn and then grace on your turn) when chaining it IN CHAIN LINK ONE to takeover and potential to pop on your opponents turn can kill decks like spellbooks and fur hires. I would recommend these over demise and to run a 2. Possible tech of chain destruction as well, that is more conditional but will let u pop the monster and another backrow/monster. Grimson over scourge bc of protection capability.
P.S. Most people familiar with vampires can sub out e con for trunade and simultaneous for demise and run sealed tombs or sub out simultaneous for demise and run bandit skill on Keith. That changes matchup potentials in notes above but see other deck descriptions in this site’s KOG Nov 2018 list for their matchup descriptions.

Zabi | Sealed Tomb | Nov 22 |
A comment from Zabi:
Basically focused on turn 2~4 OTK. Trunade takes care of most backrow, save for DNA surgery. It is your main key to making an OTK opportunity.
Desire and SimLoss provide flexible pivots to help in cases where the classic route is difficult, use them wisely. There's too many details and examples to go over, but a few cases would be using SimLoss against yubel deck during the opponent's turn with field card to destroy yubel2, then commence to destroy the summoned yubel3 with grace on your opponent's turn, or using desire to summon grace twice in one turn(in case your first gets flipped face down because you couldn't draw trunade). There are a lot more usages to these cards the more imaginative you become.
SimLoss with field card is also your key to fighting DNA BB decks. Sealed tomb helps in a lot of cases, prominently vs Blue Eyes and vamp mirror matches. It also can prevent HERO drawing with celestial and to a lesser extent, prevent Galaxy Cyclone from busting your field, even if it is only for 1 turn. While not so common, it also restricts Bujins from using their graveyard effects.
Otherwise, it runs like most Vamp decks out there: mill fam/retainer, revive, search, summon, destroy, then attack. PS. When choosing what to mill with grace, always go for spells(unless the deck doesn't have any). Only case when you choose monster would be against GB or Geargia. Leave the traps to trunade.

Lets Dkule! | Bandit | Nov 25 |
A comment from Lets Dkule!:
Vampires are incredibly versatile and can handle most situations presented in the current meta, and I chose to run a 21 card version as the deck thins itself out almost immediately. The Grace+Kingdom combo is the heart of this deck (which is why I run two), and Vamp over Grimson as I found Grimson practically useless as he is very situational and we are only given 4000LP here. A single copy of Cyclone, Econ and Trunade as these cards can assist in OTK’s which this deck has a high potential to pull them off given the right hand. 2 Drowning Mirror Forces as that card is very useful and has been seeing a lot of use for its potent effect, as we tend to see the field swarmed with monsters as early as the first turn.
Going first you’re gonna want to summon Gozuki/Samurai, mill a Retainer and get Vampire Takeover set (which will thin your deck another card and possibly special summon another vampire from the GY). Overall, the goal is to use Grace to destroy any backrow and/or monster threats, with the Bandit skill allowing you to take controll of one of your opponents spell/traps if you can manage to get your lifepoints in the right place (which should be easy given all of the effect costs required by this deck). Other situations include getting Vamp out to take controll of Blue Eyes/Cosmo Brain/Anki/ any other beater, which has saved me games more times than I can count and can put a solid 4000+ ATK beater in your controll in a single turn.
Last note is this deck is not for everyone; you must be very familiar with the meta, know how each card in this deck works, and understand which combo will be most efficient to tackle whatever you’re up against. Do your best to not direct attack when your opponent has a full backrow, as you will (way more likely than not) run into a WOD, Widespread Ruin, Drowning Mirror Force Etc. Read your opponents field to the best of your ability and do not lose games you would have otherwise won if you were patient. Patience and knowledge of the meta are key to going anywhere with Vampires.

Sizer25 | Draw Sense: Earth | Nov 23 |
A comment from Sizer25:
The deck is played by throwing Boggart knight and 1 other saber onto the field, then disrupting with traps, followed by normal another saber next turn and attack for big damage. Usually don't got for synchros except hyunlei for big back row removal.
Snowman eater is clutch deck killer and a great tech. I don't own 3 fulhelm knights lol. Good matchup vs vampires, ok against heroes, and bad matchup against Blue-eyes. It took me so long to get lvl 20 because blue eyes matchup is so bad.
