Mid-September will bring us a new unlockable character unavailable to Duel Links as of now. Based on the given quote we can assume that the new unlockable duelist will be Yubel whose personality mainly revolves around her love for Jaden as its owner. Another evidence is the leaked Mat and Sleeve of Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare.

Massive Update - 5D's World available on 25 Sept 2018

A New Development in Yugioh Duel links. This could likely be the addition of 5D's, the third series of YuGiOh into Duel Links like how GX was added late last year. With the addition of 5D's World comes the addition new characters, events, cards, and the Synchro summoning mechanic.

Oh, Syrus, the guy who’s unlock event nearly nobody liked in late May, is coming back. Seriously, how the f**k did he become an unlockable character before Zane when Zane came first?!?!?!?!

Give us playable Zane and Cyber Dragons already!!!!!!!
And no more DM characters!!! We have way too many now. Focus on getting new worlds (5Ds) or more new playable GX characters. That might just give this game a better reception. Don’t just give us crap events!!!

The reason why Konami need to bring 5D's :
1) Refresh the game. As everyone has said lately, the game is lacking of innovation
2) Complete the existing deck. Six Sam, Fabled and Karakuri still missed their boss monster
3) Tuner monster. Special for clueless person who keep mocking 5D's but also asking for Blue-Eyes Support. Most of Blue-Eyes are Tuner and not only that there are many useful Tuner that can be used even if you don't play synchro

GX is not without issue either, the GX world seriously lack characters. Axel Brodie and Blair Flannigan should have been playable characters, Volcanic deck and Lightsworn deck should have been from them instead of being box cards.

And they need to stop repeating events for Jesse and Syrus, what we need is Zane unlock event. Most players have Jesse and Syrus already.
