You're not a good RE player, or even a good player period, if you think RE Gearfried is trash.

Red-Eyes Gearfried is actually really good. It's an in-theme Warrior for Red-Eyes Slash, that's easy to summon, has decent ATK, and it can revive ANY Red-Eyes.

Scud is not a starter LD. He was meant to be a hidden duelist but dataminers found out how to unlock him.

That's not the point. Anyway, IIRC some characters had hidden unlock mission like Crow and Leo (or was it Luna?).

It's Luna, whose mission requires you to win 100 duels as Leo.

Although, considering their twin sibling status, it's not exactly hard to figure out unlocking her must have something to do with Leo.

Don't worry hes guaranteed obviously. They're just building up hype for his epic return. Theyre sort of following the sequence of events in DSOD movie, so some of the less important characters come first, except Kaiba who is sort of the main character of DSOD. Yugi and Aigami will have epic events after we get some of the other less important characters
