Skill Details

Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1500. Once per turn, send 1 Monster on your side of the field (except a Token) to summon 1 random Monster (that can be Normal Summoned) from your deck whose attribute and type are same to and level is 1 higher than the tributed monster.

special summon dark flare dragon
drop one dragon type from hand, drop kodomo dragon from deck (vice versa) to banish one target
special summon one high dragon beater from hand using kodomo effect
if there's spell card in oppo graveyard monstermorph to White-Horned Dragon banish them to gain more attack

Yeah his skill is severely broken with gandora! Not only does it completely break the rules of gandora ma summoning, you cannot activate traps like floodgate traphole to stop gandora. He is being summoned no matter how you cut it. Where's special or normal he still has to be summoned and as soon as he is he is vulnerable to all traps and spells that can destroy. Why is it skipping activate phases? Very broken! Will report 40 times until it's fixed ;;)

Dude, skills can't be countered, example is Labyrinth Wall, you can't negate or activate a card in response to that skill. Since he isn't summoned, he doesn't get destroyed. That is the whole point of Mokuba's skill. Remember this isn't the TCG it's a video game with added bonuses.

Bruv, one question. Why is everyone using this on dragons? It works on others too.
Combo with marmiting captain.
Like get a good card out with it then use the skill on get rid of captain or something that can't attack that turn.

If u notice all he level up is dragon .I only use skill heavy started but u right bro it also can work with other deck too sorry bad English

Gandora is not being summoned. It's being PLAYED. The card says if it's being summoned, banish it.

That not even the real problem. The real glitch is that you cannot activate a spell/trap in response to Gandora a summoning. Trust me I've tried floodgate trap hole and order to charge and you dnt get a prompt to activate anything. 2 ganodora is not destroyed at the end of the turn. 3: his effect can be used over and over each turn. That's what you call broken.

not a glitch.summoning with a skill has no interaction with the game rules

First note:
The Monster summoned counts is treated as a Normal Summon, even though it doesn't subtract from your turn-limit. Example: REBD upgrading into Gandora.
Second note:
The Monster sacrificed always goes to the graveyard, even if it shouldn't usually. Example: A Totem Dragon upgraded to Kidmodo Dragon after the former used its ability to summon itself will be sent back to the grave, rather than be banished by its own effect.

If you consider his example, it makes sense; Gandora only activates when normal summoned. There are some ways a monster can enter the field without being Summoned(eg Dimensionhole) but this isn't one of them.

Is the first note confirmed? Can a level 4 monster summoned from this effect be tributed for something like Soul Transition? I can't test it myself cos don't have the card

Wow another bug in this game? Hahaha dude you can't acirvate a trap/spell to stop gandoras summoning, he doesn't die at the end of the turn and he can use his effect infinitely hahaha. Wow this might be the single most broken combo this game has seen. Gandora is the new official god card lmaoo

When i saw this ability i thought "Oh man! Give and Take and Ancient Dragon might now be useful!" But sadly this ability only works for the ORIGINAL level. Missed opportunity imo

Used this effect on Kimodo-> Vanguard with Hunter Dragon in hand. Expected Kimodo to summon Hunter, but it didn't. Glitch or intentional?

Except Kimodo's effect say "If this card is sent to the Graveyard:" -- doesn't specify how, or why.

Agreed, the wording is inconsistent with the effect. I'd call this a glitch.
Especially considering there's already a difference between monsters that specify a certain means of being sent to the grave and those that don't.

Wouldn't be the first time the wording of skills wasn't accurate. For instance: Guardian Call wasn't a Draw Sense, but a free add-to-hand.
