Similar Effects

Jinzo

Jinzo is a monster that permanently disables all Trap cards while he is face-up on the field which acts as a more powerful Trap Stun. The downside is that Jinzo is harder to summon than it is to activate Trap Stun. Also you will not be able to activate Trap cards while Jinzo is on the field as opposed to the single turn Trap Stun is activated.

Aegis of Gaia

Negate Aegis of Gaia’s effect so that you do not take damage when it leaves the field.

Considering most of the annoying backrow cards nowadays are Traps (Canadia, Penalty Box, Onslaught, WoD.....), this card definitely will see some play.
