Really wish Konami would change the text on this to "if the equipped monster would be destroyed by BATTLE..." I get that people love to run this in a deck with trap immune creatures, but seriously how do you remove this thing otherwise? Limiting this thing isn't gonna do 🔥 since it would still show up in your hand and then make something invincible.

You could try running backrow removal or non destruction effects.

Yeah pretty much use a Vision Hero Witch Raider, or even Cosmic Cyclone or Galaxy Cyclone in the Grave.

Heck Breaker the thing if you have to or use a Canadia.

There are a bunch of removal options for this

You could even use Collected Power to equip it to your monster instead

Damn this card can protect a monster so a tribute monster can be tributes summoned.

This would be a terrible card to use if you are trying to tribute summon. You'd be spending two cards just to tribute one lv 5-6 monster.

There are already some of the Monarch Vassals (and some lv4 monster) that can special summon themselves at relatively no cost, and then you can tribute those immediately.

I started playing this game about a week ago and discovered this card a few days into playing and this card has single handedly been the reason I have been able to get into gold league easily and beat half of the people with decks that look like they have been playing regularly for at least 3-5 months. It's easily my favourite card especially paired with Mythical bestiary.

You are right but its not a bad card at all, its only a N rarity one and still fairly competitive

Actually super rush headlong seems like a great counter because it destroys monsters regardless of their ATK points

using this with silent swordsman works amazing and solemn scolding to negate flood, candia, or mirror force etc.

This card is so broken. Like seriously? Not everyone has canadia yet, or tends to run them in every deck. If it was like a better molting escape, where it was once per turn you could avoid the attack, I would like it. But immune to spells and just gets strong as you hit it? What exactly is supposed to be the counter outside of canadia?

You could always use Dimensional Prison or Memory of an Adversary. There's also usually nothing stopping you just popping the Power itself with a Cosmic Cyclone or Double Cyclone or whatever.
