Um after this update playing PVP there have been several duels where im second and it skips my draw phase please fix thanks

Same here. I use restart and sometimes it skips my draw Phase. It`s really annoying. I hope they fix that soon.

It’s suppose to skip your draw phase if you use it. They literally have the skill changes in there in game news feed

I got 2 today without trying so it is possible.
Fur hire counters
Which decks have the advantage against fur hire deck.

Are there counterdecks to it?

You don't need counter decks, but going 1st as Spellbook should do you well. (But you might do poorly if you go 2nd.)

Try putting Providence, Chalice, Floodgate in deck. If you stop their first monster, then they're done for that turn. If you go 2nd, don't attack blindly (except to 🔥 Donpa), let them clog their monster zone, and aim for OTK or some form of total dominance.

Try to swarm, both when it comes to monsters and S/T. Always try to have more than 1 so they can't destroy or negate both in the same turn.

If their field is clogged and there is no Donpa, then all they can do is count on Dyna for offense. If you can get out something stronger than Dyna, then you should buy yourself a lot of time. You still need someway to OTK or gain dominance over the game tho.

Is there some sort of disadvantage playing this on your phone because I'm getting beat on my opponents 2nd turn like 8 of 10 times the pvp is awful now

What deck were you using, and what are you losing to? If you're losing on turn 2, then you might be lacking in defense, or can't deal with Anti-Magic Arrows/Hey Trunade, or had a bad hand.

But playing on phone IS disadvantages. Your screen is smaller, and your spec is worse than PC, and it is harder to check on card effects. Still, it is mostly cards and knowledge that makes the game.

So, I was hoping for some feedback on whether monster gate was a solid card to use in a fur hire deck.

Effect:Tribute 1 monster; excavate cards from the top of your Deck until you excavate a monster that can be Normal Summoned/Set. Special Summon it, also send the other excavated cards to the Graveyard.

Reason: I often found that a full field with fur hires was one of its avoidable weakness’s.

Pros: When a fur hire is summoned by this cards effect it can trigger the effects of recon, donpa, beat, and seal. Helps clear the field. Works perfectly with monster heavy versions. High levels like wiz and dyna can be summoned by it as well.

Cons: Can screw you if you run loads of spells and traps. No way of knowing what you’ll get unless you run aroma strategy which wouldn’t be worth it. This card would be hard to get unless you played three star ninjas back in the good ol’ days.(Level 35 Paradox reward)

Could work if your opponent is smart enough to keep your monster zone clogged. You can give that a try. It probably won't come up that often except against smarter opponents though.

I'm more concerned about mirror matches myself.

I'm losing to dumb traps and there isn't enough variety of back row popping staples.
Most doesn't even negate and they put rush headlong in over it? Please fix your game it doesn't favor skilled players when no-one use mirror wall for two turn kills and I can't even summon

Anti-Magic Arrows is my fave. Sure it's only for one turn but "Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this card's activation." is a really handy.

Yes, back then AMA is really popular. I also like to use AMA back when I used GB.
Unfortunately, most of the popular backrow right now can be activated before battle phase even begin (econ, canadia, chalice, treacherous).

A lot of people still wait until Battle Phase to activate them, though. AMA still has its use even today.

I'm not sure about that. Almost nobody use AMA in the current meta. Hey, trunade is a much better alternative because you don't have to deal with the likes of floodgate, canadia, spellbook of fate or treacherous trap hole.

The only spellcaster deck is spellbook.

The rests are just tier 1 decks like masked hero, amazoness, and fur hire.

Does anyone else feel like Konami needs to revitalize Harpies?

Mai’s skill Harpies’ Hunting Ground is basically dead because of how they “balanced” it. I understood why they did it then, but in the current meta, it just isn’t as overpowered.

I think they should do 1 of 3 things:
1. Restore the skill to how it was before.
2. Modify the skill so it has a secondary effect, i.e. you start out with HHG in your hand *and* if your LP drops 2000, you can randomly draw Hysteric Party, Hysteric Sign, or Harpie’s Feather Duster from outside your deck.
3. Keep the skill as is, but introduce Harpie Queen and HHG as obtainable cards (or Harpie Harpist, Channeler, Hysteric Sign, etc). In this event, I think they should also give Mai the skill Peak Performance.

They could always just re-balance the skill if it becomes too overpowered, or limit the Queen/HHG, but I just think they need to do something already. Harpies are dead right now and they really need to be re-worked.

Also, Harpie Queen, Harpist, and Channeler —even if just one (1) was release could help the pre-existing cards/skills become more consistent: Phalanx Pike, Harpies’ Hunting Groune, Aqua Chorus, Phoenix Formation, Harpie’s Pet Dragon, & Harpies’ Last Will. If they release all of them it’d be overpowered, sure, but c’mon, at least give us access to one or two of those cards!

Yeah. Fingers crossed that there is more Harpie support. I’m hoping for Harpie Queen and Harpies’ Hunting Ground being obtainable cards in a structure deck

Liar. Harpies are strong. They must give more support cards for Archfiend deck, because it was not nerfed, most p2w deck, and should absolute support more p2w. Because it is about MONEY MONEY MONEY
