Period	8 September 2020 - 31 October 2020

What is Special Gift Campaign?

For the duration of the campaign, a Special Gift will appear in Duel World. By selecting the Special Gift icon and choosing a Magical Hat, you can obatain unique item.

Obtain 1 random item out of 8 possible items every time you open a Special Gift.
You can obtain up to 8 items during the campaign.
When and where the Special Gift will appear differs from person to person.
Special Gift will appear randomly once every 1 to 5 days.
Special Gift will disappear when the next Special Gift appears.
Be sure to open Special Gifts as soon as you see them, so you can obtain as many items as possible!

Can everyone stop complaining it DOES appear more than once because I've had it show up twice now.

The RNG on it is just that, RANDOM. There's a set chance for it to appear randomly every 1 to 5 days, with that chance going up each time the check on it fails.

Konami has given notice in announcement section(second left button in the four icons at upper right side of main screen), the magic hat will appear once every 1-5 days! :D

"Special Gift will appear 1 to 5 times per day, randomly." I'm always connected switching between the worlds but saw the hat only once since the event's beginning.

I may not need them now, but I also can't help remembering the time not too long ago when I was desperate for more of these to spend at the card trader and was stuck grinding LDs a lot instead. The card trader might get new stuff that I want in the future, and then I will be grateful to have all of these extra jewels.

I literally have gotten the damn hat once yesterday at 1 pm after that it never apeared again it’s 10:22 am and it hasn’t appeared at all

They only appear every 1 to 5 days.

Such events are 🔥 and awesome at the same time.

Let me explain:
🔥: When you have multiple SDs, 1 Vaga, 1 LD and the event thrown around the 4 zones and between 2 worlds, you can easily miss things for a time, especially with LDs and Vaga not shown... Yeah you can check after every match the 4 zones, but that's 3 clicks everytime for not even knowing if there is something new! They NEED to implement small icons on each zone to show if there are SDs, LD and/or Vaga waiting.
The random factor of 'appearing' per day is a bit useless as you are forced to be online multiple times a day without even knowing if there would be any benefit just to don't miss the bonus...

Why it's awesome: It's free stuff! Got 100 gems. While the gold/jewels are (mostly) useless, the SR ticket could be nice(when we have a list what it offer). But still better than nothing.

My opinion on this(and general) stuff.

The SR rewards are the same as ranked duels SR. All the rewards.

they want you be on the app every day and spend as much time as possible on it while you're there. that's always their goal, this just makes it even more obvious
