Very useful to destroy a monster with high ATK that your opponent controls.
The effect continues unlike Reinforcements and Curse of Aging.

Cons

Weak to Twister since this card is continuous trap.
Note that this card does not decrease the ATK of a face-up attack position monster. That affects a monster that conducts an attack.

How so? It is easier to get, you can destroy your opp's monster in either player's turn, unaffected by Trap Jammer & Mirage Dragon, can destroy your opp's monster even if either monster in def position. How is it not better?

Because Mirror Wall protects all monsters you control, is a Damage Step Card (meaning your opponent can't chain Econ, OtC, etc to it), can do some chip damage, and does not trigger monster effects that say "when destroyed by card effect" like Phoenix and Vanguard. They both have their uses, and are both good cards, but one is not strictly better than the other.

this and michizure are the reason i can't go past plat I, konami must've been drunk the day they decided to add this 🔥 to the game.

mirror wall isn't good enough that it makes any deck better by itself and certainly isn't enough to single handedly make you climb through the ranks. good card, but not broken at all, especially at this point in the meta, where the majority of decks run some form of removal.

Is this the ultimate has-been card. Is anyone dumb enough to attack into this card and put yourself in a board disadvantage position. Are ppl dumb enough when the guy plays beans man in attack position when u have bewd already out that u attack and hope for the best. Any good player can play around this card no problem. I'll rate it a 7.5/10 noob killer stall card
