1. It's amusing to see people whine over not getting gems. If you get the same birthday present every year, it gets older than you pretty quickly.

2. They're missing out on a good opportunity for Atticus (who was born on Halloween) and Zane (Born the day after) and to do a whole "Twin Gems of Duel Academy" (their shared title in the Manga) thing

Not only that, but we already got a decent amount of gems from Zane's campaign and stuff. Sure, more gems are always welcome, but how greedy do we really need to be?
