Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you must banish 10 cards from the top of your Deck face-down (this is not optional), or this card is destroyed. During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck that specifically lists the card "Golden Castle of Stromberg" in its text. You cannot Normal Summon/Set the turn you activate this effect (even if this card leaves the field). You can only use this effect of "Golden Castle of Stromberg" once per turn. When your opponent's monster declares an attack: Destroy the attacking monster, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the ATK that monster had on the field.

Anyone else think of a Psychic Stromberg Synchro deck based on Psychic Feel Zone? Possibly with Luna, to guarantee you'll have a field spell somewhere? Not sure how effective it'd be, but it could be interesting.

Since it banishes face down you wouldn’t be able to pull anything with Feel Zone

Play this card, set gravelstorm with pumpkin carriage on the field...gg.

A lot of people seem to think waaay too much on the upkeep cost of the card.

If you want to see this gravelstorm more often just use balance skill.

Except your opponent can simply just stall out and/or blow up your carriage before attacking. There are ways around Stromberg, and around Carriage's protection of said card.

So special summon is allowed then. If we use cards that special summons if banished, would that work? I feel like this card can only be used in a worst case scenario.

There's a 30 card limit so at most this card can only last for 2 rounds. Unless you destroy this card before its effect kicks in then activate another one on your next turn. That still gives you 3 turns.

use twin cyclone to destroy this card during your opponent end turn so you won't have to pay the cost for this card + destroy backrow

It seems like a good idea, but you can't do that if Pumpkin Carriage is on the field... and if Pumpkin Carriage is not on the field, it's highly likely your opponent will destroy the Castle on the beginning of their turn...

While Stromberg is far better in the TCG then it is in Duel Links, I can't really call it OP in the TCG.

It seems people here misunderstand something. You do NOT banish 10 cards the turn you activate this card. You do it next Standby Phase. So if you carry 30 cards, you get at most 4 turns including the turn you activate this card
