doesnt ever let me activate this when my opponent special summons cards that destroy my whole field its bs six sam needs a way to stop chain monster summoning and monstwr effect destruction

Is Duel Links glitchy as of recently (06/2020)? I was not prompted to activate this card when my opponent used Treacherous Trap Hole.

2 questions you have to carefully answer:
1. Did you had a FACE UP six samurai monster.
2. Did you set this card in the SAME turn?
I am pretty sure you will find the answer.

Pretty sure, yes. I've used it successfully in many occassions. But sometimes it simply wont allow me to trigger it. There's nothing negating it either (like monster effect or anything)

Remember, it only works on destruction effects- not just anything

Maybe it's because the destruction isn't guaranteed. Flower cardian destruction effect only works if he draws flower cardian monster

It could be a ruling in which Ice's effect is/isn't a cost when it does the discard, meaning it'd do something besides just the destruction effect. (Have you tried it against Snipe Hunter? I'd imagine it wouldn't work either, still worth a test.)

It should, sending a card from hand is a cost.

It won't work against Snipe Hunter not because of the cost, but because Snipe Hunter's effect doesn't guarantee the destroy.

If this card doesn't work against Koa'ki Meiru Ice, then you must have missed something else, because it should work.

Text reads "that destroy a card(s)

I've succesfully used this against cards like double cyclone & treacherous trap hole that targets 2 cards.

It doesn't work because the text reads "negate it and destroy it", Survival's end can't be distroyed if it already is in the graveyard. I know, sounds like total BS but that's how this game works. lol

My comment about only working against destruction to 1 card is a response to the other anon mentioning about Secret Six Sam also not working against Survival End.

Evil Rick is smart and totally right. Survival's End is already in the graveyard and cannot be destroyed anymore

Whether the card can be destroyed or not is irrelevant. (You can negate a card like Newdoria or Grave Squirmer with this.) Survival's End's destruction effect is not the activation of a Spell/Trap Card, however.

This card is not really that OP, but it's a HUGE Advantage against Yubel. Kinda situational but it can get a win for u

This card isn't that good in Duel Links because in 20-card format Shien is very easy to summon. If Shien is on the field, cards that can deal with opponent's monster effect is much more useful than card that negates spell/trap
