Each time a "Karakuri" monster's battle position is changed, place 1 Karakuri Counter on this card (max. 2). You can send this card from the field to the Graveyard to draw 1 card for each Karakuri Counter on this card.
Staying on the field makes it susceptible to removal even before activating it's effect.
Luckily most Karakuri monsters have the innate effect of changing their battle positions with multiple also having effects that can change the battle position of other monsters. Making Karakuri Anatomy fairly easy to use.
Curse of Anubis will protect your monsters from your opponent's attack while also changing Karakuri monsters to defense position since they are also effect monsters. Although no matter how many Karakuri monsters changed battle position, Karakuri Anatomy will only gain one counter because they changed battle positions at the same time.
