I haven't seen Ninjas after that MASSIVE board wipe from Orcrust.

The only problem with this is mosnters with high attack, if ninjas keep running 3SD they cannot pass through monster with 3k+ attack, except black ninja which usually requires 2 cards to do so, so if u set a card using this effect u already have -2 cards in hand, then u face a strong beater and u summon black ninja by tributing another monster u had on the field and then use it's effect u will be left with no cards at hand, even if u remove it, no cards at hand is really hard to come back... maybe we will see blue eyes coming back since if the meta goes to much to effect blue eyes with CV will be strong again
