Equip only to an "Evil Eye" monster. It cannot be destroyed by battle or your opponent's card effects, also your opponent cannot target it with card effects. Each time you activate the equipped monster's effect, or you activate another "Evil Eye" Spell/Trap Card: The equipped monster gains 500 ATK, and if it does, you lose 500 LP. (This ATK gain remains even if this card leaves the field.) If this card is in your GY: You can pay 1000 LP, then banish 1 "Evil Eye" Spell/Trap from your GY, except "Evil Eye of Selene"; Set this card. You can only use this effect of "Evil Eye of Selene" once per turn.

You deserve to rethink why you loose to evil eye decks. A deck that almost none use.

Is it possible to chain karma cut to this card being activated to be equipped on an Evil Eye monster?

Or does Selene grants target protection to an Evil Eye monster even if this spell didn't resolve yet?

You're not chaining to the effect....you're supposed to chain Karma Cut to the activation of Evil Eye of Selene.

Continuous-like effect, according to ruling, doesn't start a chain, so Karma Cut is chained to the activation of this card, instead of this card's effect.

And in that case, Karma Cut will resolve first before Evil Eye of Selene, therefore, Karma Cut works.

Thanks, very helpful answer.

I guess this also answers my question on Saber Dancer. When she is summoned her untargettable effect is activated, but you can still chain to her a Karma Cut.

They really were counting on people to get cosmic cyclone huh? Wtf are we supposed to do with a card that grants near infinite protection in combination with its own traps?

Great advice! That plus lava golem could work in a "🔥" stall strategy too, and counters this deck nicely!
