Is it normal that monster cards, that are Xyz materials, still go to the GY when being detached?

yes, why not? with dimensional fissure, they dont go to GY, but redirected to banish pile, so they dont activate effects for being sent to GY

"Xyz Materials underneath Xyz Monsters do not count as monsters, so detached Xyz Materials will be sent to the Graveyard even if "Dimensional Fissure" is on the field. Xyz Materials cannot be targeted."
