Based on the given quote we can assume that the new unlockable duelist will be Yubel whose personality mainly revolves around her love for Jaden as its owner. Another evidence is the leaked Mat and Sleeve of Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare.

A New Development in Yugioh Duel links. This could likely be the addition of 5D's, the third series of YuGiOh into Duel Links like how GX was added late last year. With the addition of 5D's World comes the addition new characters, events, cards, and the Synchro summoning mechanic.

It's 2030. GX world still miss Zane and Yubel, 5ds world hasn't gained a new character since it release in 2018, meanwhile in DM world Joey's mother unlock event is underway

If only hell kaizer ace was cyber dark dragon instead of cyber end dragon we can dream in a previous hell kaizer zane. well we can anyway get both, why no?, we have atem and yugi, and we have joey and rex which share the same ace monster.

Atem and Yugi are different characters, and Konami just didn't get creative enough to give either Joey or Rex a different ace monster. Obviously, we can't avoid mirror matches due to pvp, but having both versions of Zane because Hell Kaiser is just an older version of Zane. It would be like time travel, and it is just too...weird.

Remember that Hell Kaiser Zane could have been easily be treated by Konami as "just another realistic NPC Kaiba created", like Yami Bakura.

And then we get the normal Zane instead as playable character.

Spyral will be trash in DL lol
The only reason Spyral even became meta in OCG/TCG was Double Helix - which is a Link monster, meaning you will never get it in DL, at least not within next 3 or 4 years

Konami need to stop adding minor characters like Bonz and Mokuba these type of characters always have useless skills and useless cards, the only thing that worth from them are just gems.

Yes, but knowing the fact they prefer releasing minor DM characters rather than important characters from the other series is really make me sick, especially when DM already have so many characters right now.

All the minor characters you guys are talking about as rex, weevil, mako, mokuba... etc
All of them were released before GX world so konamy had to release them to keep running except mokuba, he was released in the same time as GX world
So why are you guys thinking that konamy prefer DM world?

Rex, weevil and mako weren't minor characters, they were relevant having a lot of debuts in every season dueling.

Mako dueled twice and didn't show up beyond Battle City aside from a few small cameos. I'd still consider him more major than like Arkana or Odion, but not a "must-have".

That being said, GX is still fairly new. It did have a smaller starting roster than DM did, but that's because we already had a bunch of DM characters. Most new characters going forward will be GX. Not sure why anyone's upset.

I hope we get to unlock Zane Truesdale as a character in June!!! I have always been a fan of yugioh. I really hope Konami can help fulfill this wish!

Cyber Dragon is the only point against Zane being unlockable. But they could just not give him base Cyber Dragon. (Either give him a skill that adds Cyber Dragon to the Deck, or just rely entirely on Zwei/Drei/Proto.) We're also probably not getting Cyber Twin Dragon, but that's not a big issue.

Please konami i want, we want a super jaden event, we need e-hero/neos (and why not masked hero too) support. we need mudballman, airneos, shining flare wingman, elixirer, and why not cards used by jaden like necrogardna.

I see this photo more than one time^^
Look all GX characters.
Zane will be twain as Dark zane and zane
(Yubel/Jaden) will be the supreme king jaden.
And other characters that will be add in the future!
We will see Yubel and Atticus in tag duel event too!
Also new skills that will be unable to use in the new tag duel event for both GX and DM characters!
